  7. Unique features of the program:
  8. -------------------------------
  9.           To my knowledge, this is the only Management Simulation
  10. available through Shareware.  It has been endorsed by the Canadian
  11. Institute of Management.  Students can "sit in the Managers chair" for
  12. one full simulated year (12) periods.  Program provides instant and
  13. delayed feedback concerning the decision choices being made.  This
  14. feedback takes the form of real life through numerous financial
  15. statements, ratios, graphs, employee feedback and more.
  16.           The simulation involves the student being hired on as the
  17. President of a clothing manufacturer, that uses a growing franchise
  18. network for it's distribution method.  The student is responsible for
  19. and has control over every facet of the company during the simulated
  20. year.  The student will also face and must complete 12 mini-cases,
  21. which presents an opportunity or a threat, depending upon how you look
  22. at it.
  23.           The software is FUN and easy to use with the main-menu
  24. headings being separated into functional departments of the company,
  25. namely; Finance, Marketing, Production, Personnel and Other.  Fully
  26. menu driven.
  27.           Student manual is on the disk. Program is quiet for lab work
  28. as there are no sound effects used.  College instructors are freed from
  29. collecting student data disks as calculations are automatic.
  30. Reports can be viewed on screen or printed using any printer.

  34.           Can be installed on hard-drive and an unlimited number of
  35. students can use it, as they use their own data disks.
  36.           Unlimited number of decision combinations can be used and an
  37. unlimited number of simulations can be performed ie; start from scratch
  38. and re-run the simulation at period 1 again.
  39.           Being an ASP (new) member, there is nothing different about
  40. the Shareware version compared to the registered version except
  41. registered version provides:
  42.           - Shareware registration reminders are removed.
  43.           - 90 day disk replacement Warranty.
  44.           - 6 months technical assistants if desired.
  45.           - Unlimited updates of future versions.
  46.           - Notices of other simulations created.

  50.           - IBM PC or compatible clone.  8088 CPU or better.
  51.           - Monochrome monitor with a color card or Color Monitor.
